Laura Dyet - MEd, RYT, CBD

Laura began her career as an Early Childhood Educator in 2012. She spent four years of her career working at Branksome Hall Asia, a highly respected international school in Jeju, South Korea. During this time Laura became the Coordinator of the Early Years program and worked with colleagues to develop a play-based program that reflected current research about how young children learn best. Laura is very passionate about outdoor education, and believes that playing in the natural world benefits healthy childhood development. She recently submitted her dissertation for a Masters degree in Early Childhood Education, which focusses on the Benefits of Outdoor Education in Early Childhood.

Aside from teaching young children, Laura is also a Registered Yoga Teacher, a Birth Doula, and a certified Pre & Postnatal Fitness specialist. Upon completing these certifications, Laura realized the importance of supporting families and children in a variety of ways, so by combining her three passions, she launched Child’s Pose - a business that focusses on helping families and children grow.

Laura is currently working as an Au Pair in England while continuing to teach yoga and work as a Doula. Working as an Au Pair has given her the opportunity to work closely with one family and learn more about techniques for successful toilet training, weaning, bedtime routines, and everyday life with young children. She hopes to one day make Child’s Pose her full-time business and have a family of her own.
